Linear ball bearings (also known as ball bushing or the guide shaft) by polymer cage and hardened steel ball raceway, in order to guide the group in the whole system. Recirculating ball allows unrestricted travel and low friction.
SKF linear ball bearings can be used to design two ISO compact series of 1 (LBBR) and heavy load series (LBC).

Lubrication of linear ball bearings
SKF linear ball bearings and devices for diameters of 6 mm and above have been pre lubricated in the plant. Due to grease lubrication and the use of the SKF lip seal (2LS), many applications will not require lubrication, because in this case, the theoretical interval of the lubrication will exceed the life of the bearing. These linear bearings are lubricated with high performance SKF grease LGEP2.
